More Notable Quotes From Sungenis

There are many interesting quotes to be found in one of Sungenis’ latest “articles” Adventures in Blogland. Below you will find a small sampling:

1) Sungenis: “I am merely doing the same thing Jesus did when he confronted the sins of the Jews…Unfortunately, the Jews haven’t changed in our day. They are still the same godless racists they were in Jesus’ day. Few of them have repented of their sins.” (page 10)

2) Sungenis: “The nation of Israel has control of AMDOCS, the central telephone operation in the United States. It's one way the Mossad spies on American citizens, including you and those you talk to." (page 30)

3) Sungenis: “Do I need to say more? I have the whole history of Catholicism behind me, and these Fathers, Doctors, Saints and the God-Man himself said much worse things about the Jews than I ever have. What is really happening today folks is that we have been taken over by Jewish propaganda, and there are a few Catholic/Jewish ideologues…Many of them are paid handsomely by Zionist groups to say whatever they can to silence people like me. They are bent on promoting the godless state of Israel for some pie-in-the-sky dream they have, even against their own Catholic religion (at least that’s the religion they claim to have), and they will smear anyone who gets in their way. The Jews have done this for centuries against good people, and it continues today.” (page 19)

Of course, this “article” is also littered with the personal lies that have become the hallmark of Sungenis’s “work” in recent years as well. As mothers have been known to warn: if you lie, you had better have a good memory. Alas, Sungenis does not.

Sungenis claims he removed his articles from the racist organization National Vanguard after being contacted by his then-VP Ben Douglass and now he wonders, why all the hubbub? Well, aside from the obvious question as to why Sungenis used such an obviously racist source in the first place, even Cliff Notes would object to his severely (and conveniently) condensed version of events.

The reality is that Sungenis left the articles up by this racist organization for two weeks after being warned by his VP, Ben Douglass. It was only after Matthew Anger published an article exposing what Sungenis had done and Douglass once again vehemently objected to Sungenis about the blatantly racist nature of National Vanguard that Sungenis finally agreed to remove the material. Additionally, Sungenis neglected to inform his readers that he initially responded that he "could care less" whether National Vanguard was a racist group or not (read here).

Let us not forget the crystal clear warning Sungenis gave to Dave Armstrong who dared to put up material from a couple of conservative political commentators:

Sungenis: “If you have no political affiliation with these neo-cons, then I suggest you put a disclaimer on your site, otherwise people are going to get the wrong impression, and you can't blame them if they do. Any person with common sense who sees their names on your web site would assume that you support the political views of the aforementioned unless you say otherwise.”
(Sungenis, Q&A, January, 2005, Question 3).

Indeed. By Bob's own standard, we should naturally assume that his use of the racist National Vanguard is a sign of his personal support for their views. To date, the most he has managed to say about National Vanguard and similar sources is that they are "considered by some to be extreme". Sungenis hasn't yet told us whether he considers them to be unsavory and extreme.

Then we have the following:

Sungenis: “A few months ago I had made a quote about Michael Hoffman (Jewish critic) stating that, at this point...I would trust Michael Hoffman a lot more than I trust Michael Forrest… Obviously, Mr. Forrest is a conniving slanderer, just like Jacob Michael and Benjamin Douglass.”

It seems Sungenis can’t even remember what he himself writes any longer or be bothered to check before piling on more inaccuracies and slander. Here is the quote to which Sungenis actually referred (from March 27, 2007):

Sungenis: Actually, as of now, I trust Michael Hoffman a lot more than I do Benjamin Douglass.”
(Page 12)

Someone might want to let Mr. Sungenis know that the “conniving slanderer” he meant to calumniate in his latest article is the man he very recently dubbed “like a brother” and showered with a great deal of praise for his scholarship and integrity: Ben Douglass, not Michael Forrest. Although, Sungenis' confusion is perhaps understandable in light of the similar stories of so many CAI VPs who are first touted by him as the best thing since sliced bread...only to later be ripped apart by him as connivers and opportunists once they've had enough of his anti-Semitic shenanigans and quit.

Of course, while we're at it, let us not forget one of the more blatant personal lies Sungenis has told about his dealings with Michael Forrest. He has been absolutely adamant that his wife was an “eyewitness” to his phone conversation with Forrest before Forrest quit:

Sungenis: “Mr. Forrest yelled to me on the phone that I was an anti-semite…My wife was a witness to the whole fiasco. No one else was an eyewitness…”
(Christopher Blosser and the Catholic ADL, page 3)

and in attempting to prove to David Palm that his wife actually heard his conversation with Forrest, Sungenis wrote:

Sungenis: "My conversations on the phone are often held on speaker-phone, and my wife, since she works for CAI as a secretary and bookkeeper, is often listening to my conversations, whether by happenstance or deliberately."
(e-mail of January 20, 2007)

Apparently, either his mother never warned him about telling lies and the need for a good memory or he forgot her advice. Read on from October 2006, when he at least told the truth about the source of his wife's account:

Sungenis: "Mr. Forrest never denied to me that he had a gig or a promoter for the gig around the beginning of 2005. He told me these things on the phone, and my wife remembers it because I told her about the whole conversation."
(JMATJ, p. 54, emphasis added)

Of course, this may be a simple matter of definitions. Perhaps Sungenis will tell us the “real” definition of “eyewitness” is someone who takes his side in an argument and that only the Zionists who want to kill him think it means something else.

More Sungenis Anti-Jewish Duplicity on Display at BTF

Sungenis’ pattern of anti-Jewish chicanery continues unabated at his Bellarmine Theological Forum. For example, BTF has recently posted a “News Alert” link to a video by the “Reverend” Ted Pike - an anti-Jewish extremist who is regularly published by white supremacists such as National Vanguard and David Duke and from whom Sungenis has previously been caught plagiarizing (click here then scroll down to point #34 ).

However, more importantly, Sungenis has again illustrated another disturbing pattern of behavior that we have documented at this blog. He has repeatedly removed problematic material when he comes under heavy fire only to later return to that material when he feels the coast is clear. (Article 1, Article 2 and Article 3)

In this case, Sungenis’ duplicity is all the more blatant when one considers a previous, condemnatory statement he made about Ted Pike:

R. Sungenis: CAI didn't pull any Pike comments until we found out the truth about Ted Pike. Mr. Forrest didn't provide us with any information that Ted Pike was associated with National Vanguard [white supremacists]. That information was provided by CAI itself, and when we found out, I made the decision to pull Ted Pike from our sight [sic].

So let's recap. We now we [sic] have several instances in this response where it is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that when correct [sic] with corroborated information about a certain source, I will make the necessary decision to pull the source. In EVERY instance this has been the case. But what does Mr. Palm do? He makes it sound as if I knew previously all this information about the sources and deliberately left them on our site! (Article)

Here Sungenis acknowledges the “truth” about Ted Pike that he “discovered” himself - Pike is such a seriously tainted source that Sungenis determined it was “necessary” to entirely remove him from the BTF/CAI website. Furthermore, Sungenis used the opportunity to insist that he does the right thing “in every instance” when it comes to such seriously tainted sources and that his decisions have absolutely nothing to do with the heavy criticism he receives for using them. And finally, he fiercely protested against the slightest implication that he knowingly and deliberately subjected his patrons to such a seriously tainted source. It was, he contended, a mere, innocent oversight on his part.

And so, what is Sungenis’ excuse now for exposing his patrons to a man he knows perfectly well to be a seriously tainted source? Has Sungenis ever honestly objected to Pike’s anti-Jewish extremism and his associations with white supremacists as he claimed back in 2007, or was this simply another public relations ploy?

It may also help to once again recall Sungenis' own stern (and hypocritical) warning to Catholic apologist Dave Armstrong:

Sungenis: “If you have no political affiliation with these neo-cons, then I suggest you put a disclaimer on your site, otherwise people are going to get the wrong impression, and you can't blame them if they do. Any person with common sense who sees their names on your web site would assume that you support the political views of the aforementioned unless you say otherwise.”
(Sungenis, Q&A, January, 2005, Question 3).

Indeed. And when someone repeatedly uses the kinds of unsavory sources Sungenis does, "people are going to get the wrong impression, and you can't blame them if they do."

Sungenis and E. Michael Jones Attracting White Supremacists

In past years, Bob Sungenis has been caught propagating material taken from the white supremacists at National Vanguard:

Sungenis Source Shut Down By Commonwealth of Virginia

Sungenis Dishonesty and Hypocrisy Over Racist National Vanguard Continues

Eventually, after sustained public pressure, Bob quietly removed the material he had copy-pasted from these white supremacists – albeit without retraction or apology. To this day, the most he has managed to say against them is that they are “believed to be extremist.” Believed to be? (Article)

And now, white supremacist groups (including one that Bob copy-pasted material from) are repaying the compliment by using and recommending material obtained from Bob and his mentor, E. Michael Jones (please note that if you have Internet filtering software you may need to disable it, since these sites are usually blocked as hate groups):

Stormfront Forum

Vanguard News Network Forum

Stormfront is “a white supremacist Internet forum that has been described as one of the earliest and longest continually published websites of any kind and the Internet's first major hate site. Stormfront was founded by former Ku Klux Klan member and white nationalist activist Don Black with the intention of creating a community around the white power movement…The board began to become popular with the exponential growth of the Internet in 1994 and 1995, according to owner Don Black, a former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and a member of the American Nazi Party in the 1970s. Black founded the website Stormfront.org in April 1995 with the intention of providing a central meeting place for the white power movement.” (Wikipedia)

Vanguard News Network is “an antisemitic, white supremacist website launched in 2000. VNN is one of the most active white supremacist sites on the Internet…Its motto is "No Jews. Just Right." [Alex] Linder (the founder) echoes numerous Nazi sentiments, among them that "the thing to be done about [the Jews] is to kill them, exterminate them, get rid of them. You don't argue or reason with a cockroach; you step on it." (Wikipedia)

Recall, again, that Vanguard is the group that Bob contends is merely “believed to be extremist” with regard to the Jewish people. Now, interestingly, these white supremacists are finding Bob’s material at BTF useful for their own purposes. For example, they recently regurgitated the false quote of David Brooks that Bob posted at his Bellarmine Theological Forum (in his review of E. Michael Jones' latest book):

“In the wake of the new consensus, a new movement was born – Neo-conservatism, or as David Brooks candidly put it in the Wall Street Journal: ‘Neo means new and con means Jew’”

One can readily see why such a quote would be highly interesting to white supremacist groups. But click here for documentation that this “quote” is bogus.

In 2006, we wrote:

"[Sungenis] continues to evidence a propensity to uncritically seek out and accept unsavory, dubious and/or negatively biased information in regard to Jews and has drawn others with similar proclivities to his website." (Article)

In 2005, we wrote:

"We should reject either automatic, unequivocal approval or knee-jerk hostility and animosity toward the Jews and/or Israel. Unfortunately, I have seen both dressed up to appear as honest opinions formed by independent, objective scholarship and/or investigation when in reality it's just a matter of someone with a predisposition regurgitating back the work and opinion of a few others because those others are saying what that person already believes. In doing so, such individuals try to pass themselves off as authorities and experts. Then others pick up the same pseudo-research and scholarship and use it as well. Before long, a whole network of self-anointed "experts" and followers may find each other, really believing they have independently happened to reach the same conclusions." (Article)

Certainly, Bob has never advocated something so utterly revolting and evil as the murder of Jews. Nor has he called Jews “cockroaches.” However, he has referred to Jews as having "infected our Catholic Church" and has stated that they have been “excised” wherever they have gone because they “try to take over” and eventually “people get wise to it.” Recently he issued the ominous, provocative warning that "it's time for people to wake up and stop being corralled by the Jewish slave masters." (Article 1, Article 2)

As such, it is entirely unsurprising that white supremacists and other hate groups would find his anti-Jewish work (and the work of his mentor, E. Michael Jones) so attractive and useful. Does this anti-Jewish polemic, which has become the very core of Bob’s organization BTF, really advance the work of the Catholic Church to bring all men, both Jew and Gentile, to salvation in Christ? Hardly. One hopes and prays that Bob will genuinely and forthrightly retract and apologize for his anti-Jewish bigotry and submit to the wise and prudent direction of his bishop.

When Like Finds Like

In his original study, Robert Sungenis and the Jews, Michael Forrest wrote:

[Sungenis] continues to evidence a propensity to uncritically seek out and accept unsavory, dubious and/or negatively biased information in regard to Jews and has drawn others with similar proclivities to his website. (emphasis added)

While Sungenis has changed the name of his apostolate, it is clear that the changes at CAI/BTF have by and large been cosmetic, and perhaps the surest confirmation of this is to be found in some of the individuals still drawn to it and to Sungenis.

As of this date, one may find the following comments made by Sungenis’ patrons, allies and friends, most of which were posted by Sungenis on his new, revised website. The first thing that may jump out at the reader is the “top-tags weblog” at the top of the new Q and A Forum. These are helpful tags to direct the reader to various topics addressed. However, the font sizes for each topic are not all equal. The more a particular blog tag is used to label something, the larger it becomes. And one tag is larger than all of the other 50 listed (click on “view all tags” at the forum): Jews. In fact, only two other tags are even close to the size of the tag for Jews.

Here are two of the more noteworthy Q and A’s about Jews:

Question 18

Robert,
Why do Catholics and “Jews” number the Psalms differently?
Edgar

While Sungenis’ answer wasn’t problematic, the question certainly was, although an innocent person unfamiliar with ugly anti-Semitic conspiracy theories might not recognize it as such. It seems unlikely that Sungenis, who is certainly no stranger to the world of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, was unaware of the problem, especially as Edgar Suter is not only a patron of CAI but a friend of Sungenis and a source of information on “Jewish issues”, including the notorious information Sungenis posted from the white-supremacist National Vanguard. Suter is no passing stranger.

For those who are not familiar with the work and code words of anti-Semites, placing quotation marks around the word “Jews” is not accidental. It is meant to convey agreement with a vile, completely discredited conspiracy theory that claims the Jewish people of today are not truly Jews at all, they are merely ethnic imposters. Suter is also a devotee of an even more vile, anonymous anti-Semite who has written at length on his blog about this theory that is shared by yet another well-known anti-Semite - and source of Sungenis “Jewish information” - Michael Hoffman II.

The second “interesting” Q and A on Jewish issues is #44. Below is the last section of the entry:

The goals [of the] Christ Crucifiers has [sic] been for hundreds of years 1) Get the deicide crime abolished. 2) Get the Old Covenant to be still valid for them by the Vatican. 3) Get the Noahide Laws established worldwide by placing 5th columns in the 5 great religions of the world.

And what was Sungenis’ response? Did he immediately correct his gravely mistaken patron with the skills he honed as a professional debater and apologist? Surely his new attitude toward the Jewish people would find expression in response to such hate. In response to his disciple’s slander of modern Jews as “Christ Crucifiers,” one might hope Sungenis would at least quote Nostra Aetate #4:

“what happened in His passion cannot be charged against all the Jews, without distinction, then alive, nor against the Jews of today.”

Maybe he would even quote another passage:

“this sacred synod wants to foster and recommend that mutual understanding and respect which is the fruit, above all, of biblical and theological studies as well as of fraternal dialogues.”

Perhaps he might even have gone as far as to fraternally admonish his patron for regurgitating the kind of Jewish conspiracy theories that he himself had finally promised to swear off.

Unfortunately, Sungenis chose none of the above. Instead, he replied:

R. Sungenis: And that’s why we are here to preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ- in order to rebut these false ideas.

And thus he confirmed his patron’s "wisdom" and the continuing purpose of CAI-BTF.

For those who have followed this blog over the past year, a similar interaction may come to mind: Sungenis’ radio interview on Republic Broadcasting Network.

In that interview, aside from Sungenis’ statements about Jews taking down president Clinton by sending Monica Lewinsky after him, a caller made several statements to which Sungenis ought to have objected, but instead, he chose to add to what the caller had said:

Caller: To take this slightly away from religion, or, mostly away from religion for a little bit, I think the whole thing can best be explained by Benjamin Franklin's statement to the Continental Congress in 1789, when he warned them, "Gentleman, if you let them in, in 200 years your children - your descendants, rather - will be cursing you in your graves, because they will be in the fields as slaves, while the ones you let in" - and we know who they're talking about - "will be in the counting houses rubbing their hands." That was Benjamin Franklin's statement, and I think it explains the whole thing. Because the man knew, he was a student of history - and he wasn't the only one - but he was a student of history who knew - he knew what they'd done in Europe, and all the countries in Europe that they'd been kicked out of, over and over again, because it's the same game plan for these people, no matter where they are, where they go, it's always the same game plan - has been for 2,000 years.

Sungenis: Yeah, as a matter of fact, just to add to what you're saying - we've been quoting Benjamin Ginzberg a lot on this program, and here's what he says, along those same lines - he says, "to make matters worse, Jews often, secretly or not so secretly, conceive themselves to be morally and intellectually superior to their neighbors. Indeed, Jews are extremely successful outsiders who sometimes have the temerity to rub it in." That comes from The Fatal Embrace, page Roman numeral nine. Now, and on the other side of this coin, you know, we've got to be very cautious, because these are human beings too. Jews are human beings, and God loves them just like He loves you and I --

Caller: According to the Talmud, they are the only human beings. The rest of us are cattle.

Sungenis: Well, yeah, and that's where the problem comes in.

Caller: Absolutely, so that's exactly what you're saying, but in a different way.

Sungenis: Right, right, and what I find in, especially today, is this idea that has been resurgent since after World War II, and that is that the Jews are the Chosen People - that this somehow has come to the fore again, that all of a sudden, 2,000 years has gone by and God has resurrected them as the Chosen People above everybody else - and this is where institutions like EWTN, or the liberal Catholics, or the Zionists, or the Evangelical Protestants, or whatever - this is all what they're feeding off of, that the Jews are the Chosen People and now we have to restore them to their rightful place - and it's causing a lot of problems, because once you do that, you're gonna push other people out of the way! Article

And then we have the inimitiable Michael Hoffman II himself. Hoffman has been a source of information on "Jewish issues" for Sungenis in the past and Sungenis has spoken positively of his work. (Before reading on, the reader is warned that the following comments are extremely offensive.) In reaction to Sungenis' temporary obedience to Bishop Rhoades, Hoffman had the following deplorable reaction:

"The one scholar the traditional Catholics have said is my peer has just this past July dutifully put his tail between his legs and self-censored the entire Judaism section of his website because his fag Novus Ordo bishop ordered him to lay off the rabbis. Incredibly, he complied, muttering something about the bishop being akin to God" ("Update on Hoffman's new book on Judaism, 'Judaism Discovered'")

And what was Sungenis' reaction to this very public calumny? Silence.

Once again, all of this only serves to further confirm the wisdom of Bishop Rhoades’ order for Sungenis to cease and desist writing about Jewish issues. (Article)

Sungenis Dishonesty and Hypocrisy Over Racist National Vanguard Continues

Recently, Robert Sungenis of Catholic Apologetics International wrote:

R. Sungenis: I have stated repeatedly that I did not know the philosophy of National Vanguard up until Ben Douglass did the research and verified it for CAI when he worked here. When Mr. Douglass alerted me to National Vanguard's white supremacism, I told our webmaster to take off their material from our website, and it was only one or two items, if I remember correctly. That is all there is to it. But leave it to the gossip-mongering racists to make it sound as if I endorse National Vanguard!
(Adventures in Blogland, p. 9)

See here for information on The National Vanguard:

So, is Sungenis telling the truth? Is that really "all there is to it" as Sungenis claims? Or is he continuing to be dishonest and hypocritical? Follow the date-line and facts, below:

March 16: Ben Douglass writes to Bob Sungenis and warns him about the National Vanguard (NV), saying they are racists and that CAI should shouldn't touch them "with a 10 foot pole."

Thu, 16 Mar 2006 14:47:23 -0500

Robert and Jason,

One adjective ruins the latest feature article at CAI:

"The millions of honest White people who are members of such churches will be questioning the motivation, honesty and even genuine Christianity of
their leadership."

I really think we need to avoid posting the works of Anglo-Saxon
Israel supporters, White Nationalists, and the like. For
example, this National Vangaurd group praises
anti-miscegenation laws "to protect our precious [white]
blood, protect our national character, protect our unique
combination of beauty, intelligence, and creativity, and
protect our childrens future." We should be wary of touching
these kinds of groups with a ten foot pole. Besides
following the references they dig up for us, I don't think
we should use them at all, whether by posting their works
in their entirety or by directly quoting them.

JMJ,
Ben

April 10: The Latin Mass author, Matthew Anger, publishes an article exposing the racist nature of NV and Sungenis' use of NV.

April 12: Robert Sungenis writes to Matthew Anger and an email list of several other individuals, claiming that he doesn't know anything about National Vanguard. He then writes that he "could care less" as to whether they have a racist ideology or not, regardless. He threatens that he is going to post a response to Anger at CAI and additionally threatens to expose Anger's attempt to cover over the sins and errors of the Jews in his next article on Judaizers in the Church to the email group. Finally, Sungenis defends his use of the racist National Vangaurd with the same kind of diversionary tactics he has tried against nearly everyone else who has called him on his anti-Semitism:

From: SUNGENIS
To: MATTHEW ANGER
CC: BEN DOUGLASS (other names deleted)
Subject: My Reply to Mr. Anger -- R. Sungenis
Date: Wed, 12 Apr 2006 23:10:01 EDT

"Mr. Anger judges who they [sources] are based whether they critique or don't critique bad Jewish people. It's like a vicious circle. Never mind that Jerry Falwell actually says that Jews don't need to convert. Never mind that Abe Foxman says the New Testament is anti-semitic. That's not important to Mr. Anger. What is important is that he give Jewish people a free pass and make them immune to criticism. Some Catholic faith Mr. Anger has. I suppose he now believes Jews don't have to convert, and that the New Testament is anti-semitic."

Aside from the fact that Falwell did not say that Jews don't need to convert and that Abe Foxman is not the issue, the fact is that Sungenis had no idea what Anger thought about Jews and their conversion when he wrote this. This was nothing more than typical Sungenis bravado and diversion designed to distract people from what he had done in using a blatantly racist source.

April 13: Ben Douglass chastises Robert Sungenis again, this time for saying that he doesn't know anything about National Vanguard. Douglass reminds Sungenis about his March 16th email (above). This is sent to the entire email list, shaming Bob for his untrue statement to the group:

"From: "BEN DOUGLASS"
To: "ROBERT SUNGENIS"
(Other recipients deleted)
Date: Thu, 13 Apr 2006 11:19:40 -0400 (EDT)

Robert,

I have to criticise this statement:

'I don't know anything about National Vanguard, and I could care less.'

Remember, I sent you an e-mail about them after you posted
the Falwell Article from their site at CAI. They advocate
anti-miscegenation laws to protect Our precious white blood
and our unique combination of beauty, creativity, and
intelligence."

April 17: Robert Sungenis finally agrees to remove the National Vanguard articles. But also note a very important admission from Sungenis, pointing to a continuing problem at "Cut and Paste" CAI:

From: ROBERT SUNGENIS
To: BEN DOUGLASS; MATTHEW ANGER
Subject: Re: your goodbye message
Date: Mon, 17 Apr 2006 13:17:35 EDT

"I've already alerted Ben to the fact that no more article [sic] from National Vanguard will be run on our site, now that I know who they are. I have a bad habit of not checking the sources...which will not be the case in the future."

Also note the following at Robert Sungenis and the Jews:

"2) [Sungenis] has repeated verbatim or sometimes merely reformulated slightly writings he has obtained from others on Jewish issues. He has sometimes represented these as his own, without acknowledgment or attribution and has even defended these practices.

3) [Sungenis] continues to evidence a propensity to uncritically seek out and accept unsavory, dubious and/or negatively biased information in regard to Jews and has drawn others with similar proclivities to his website."

April 18: Articles removed

In Robert Sungenis and the Jews, we learn that it was approximately two weeks after Sungenis was notified before he removed the articles from the racist National Vanguard (an organization that has been shut down by the Commonwealth of Virginia). RSATJ was overly conservative. The record proves that it was actually over a month before Sungenis removed the articles and only after being chastised by his own V.P., an article published by a well-known Traditionalist author exposing what Sungenis had done, and another chastisement and shaming by his own V.P. in front of an email list.

Indeed. And when someone repeatedly uses the kinds of sources Sungenis does, "people are going to get the wrong impression, and you can't blame them if they do."

As radio personality Paul Harvey is best known for saying: "that's the rest of the story."

Sungenis Source Shut Down By Commonwealth of Virginia

National Vanguard Website

National Vanguard

We regret to inform you that National Vanguard (the organization) has been shut down by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We thank you for your loyal patronage over the years and hope our hard work has kept you informed and entertained while making a positive difference for our people.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

National Vanguard is an organization previously used by Robert Sungenis as a source of information about Jews. Only after sustained public pressure, an article published by Matthew Anger and heavy criticism from his own VP (Ben Douglass) did Sungenis eventually (and quietly) remove the material after writing that he didn't care whether NV was a racist organization or not.

To date, the most critical thing Sungenis has said about National Vanguard is that it is considered by some to be extreme. (Page 10, MFATJ)

As of this date, Sungenis has a link to a video (The World As Seen Through Jewish Eyes) that includes a segment on National Vanguard. Apparently, Sungenis thinks this video makes the "Jewish" perception of reality look skewed. If you watch the video through, it is not the Jews who look bad. Perhaps the most likely answer is that, following his pattern, Sungenis did not watch the entire video before posting it.

Here is a statement of purpose made by National Vanguard:

"We can have a clean, orderly, progressive, safe, and incomparably richer and more beautiful nation if it becomes a proud White nation again. To do that we must begin by restoring White community and White racial consciousness among our people. We at National Vanguard are doing that by building world-beating new media for Whites and by getting out on the street and meeting our neighbors and showing them what we're all about. We're going to help our people. We're going to educate our people. We're going to come up with creative ways to awaken our people. We're going to create publications that will be like nothing ever seen before in the cause of White awakening. We're going to do what it takes."
